Dimensions: 47 × 37 cm
An original vintage double-sided oil painting attributed to J. Sainsbury, comprising two painted compositions on opposing sides of the same support.
The works are executed in oil with a loose, painterly handling and visible brushwork. The double-sided format is an unusual feature, suggesting that both sides of the board or panel were intentionally used as finished works.
The artist's signature appears as J. Sainsbury. Further biographical information and a precise date have not been established.
